Personal Insight: 2024 Innovation - How to apply Agile/Scrum model into headhunting?jobs!!??

Hi all #headhunters and #techtalents out there,


Let's get started my post today by a quick funny question: Is it crazy and weird enough to apply #Agilemethodology #Scrummodel into #headhunting #recruitment project management? ????


Basically, it is equally "yes and no" answer. For those who are original headhunters or technologists, it is absolutely "yes" ????. #Agilemethodology or #Scrummodel is mainly used for software development projects, while headhunting job is likely a functional combination of #sales and #recruitment. How come they could go together???? That is also a general reaction from all of my Talentvis colleagues, like this???? (wow and exciting lol).


And that is why I brought this topic of "How to apply Agile/Scrum model into headhunting?jobs" to raise what I thought and share with all Talentvis -ers about this new idea of headhunting project management. What is coincidence is that last year, I was honor to take the Talentvis Academy training course of "AgileCamp Project Management" get well trained and fully equipped by my Coach (Of course, he is a true expert in IT project management with practically proven years-by-years experience). Then, I was inspired to explore how Agile methodologies could revolutionize the landscape of headhunting. In today's dynamic job market, adaptability and efficiency are paramount, and Agile principles offer a strategic framework to navigate these challenges.


With my solid background as a #Tech&Digital headhunter, during my whole training classes, after days of so much discussion with my Coach, I do personally realize that there are still some common areas between this #Agilemethodology #Scrummodel and my headhunting job in our recruitment project management, from project planning, budgeting to how to implement, operate and deliver successful and well-worked projects/outcomes/results to #high-demanding and quick-requirement changing clients.


One day, I curiously asked my Coach if this #Agilemethodology #Scrummodel is only efficiently applied for IT projects. And his answer totally did blow my mind: "Not at all. Yes! It is mainly implemented in IT projects. That does not mean that we can not apply into other non-IT projects. Because the core value of #Agilemethodology #Scrummodel is to helps people, teams and organizations generate value through adaptive solutions for complex problems, and be suited for projects with medium-level uncertainty of both technical solution and requirements. As long as the projects you are working on converge enough essential factors (like the flexibility or quick adaptability to client's requirements, ...), you and your team are accordingly customizable to implement this model into your headhunting job".


What he trained me makes me curious a lot and leads to my sharing session today to let all Talentvis -ers gather and discuss more insightfully on this new innovation for our daily tasks.


Here’s a quick glimpse of my sharing to answer why #Agilemethodology #Scrummodel would benefit #headhunters in recruitment project management:

?? Embracing iterative planning and feedback loops to optimize candidate sourcing and selection.

?? Fostering cross-functional collaboration between recruiters, clients, and candidates to streamline communication and decision-making.

?? Leveraging Agile metrics and analytics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.

Quick note that I am fully aware of the fact that I have just recently explored this new method and tried to implement into my daily headhunting job at the very early stage. Absolutely, I am not a true expert in this #Agilemethodology #Scrummodel or good enough to fully understand how it works. Here are just my personally exciting discoverings during my 2-month Talentvis Academy training course. And, I take this chance to share with you all about my new ideas and insights.
