Personal health and physical training with the help of goal setting

The greatest gift that a person receives after being born is life. Together with it he/she gets plenty of opportunities - to succeed in any field, to experience a lot of pleasure and to do a lot in the world.

Setting goals is important for your health

One of your major personal goals should be to live up to 80 or 90 or even longer, so that you can get all kinds of pleasure that life offers. Set yourself the goal to have excellent health throughout your lifetime, no matter how much time you have, to maintain a high level of energy, not to suffer from pain and illnesses. Most of the time you need to feel good, only in this case the rest is possible. And to do so, you must start reaching your goal right now.

It is noteworthy that people often choose goals, which relate to money, career, weight control, personal development, purchase of houses, cars and clothes. But very rarely they determine how many years they want to live and what standard of health they want to enjoy during their lifetime.

If to think carefully, we can draw a simple conclusion: everything you have achieved in material terms do not make sense, if you do not have time to use it.


Living to 100


The good news is that most life-threatening diseases, which reduced the average age of a person up to 52 years during the last century, are wiped out and under control. Today a long life is mostly a matter of choice.

The duration of your life largely depends on you. Overcoming unforeseen circumstances or health problems, you can make a decision to live a long and full life. Tens of thousands of men and women overcome the magic mark of 100 years today and their number is growing at an incredible rate. You have to make the decision to become one of them.

But few understand the issues related to health care, proper nutrition and life expectancy control. Even though books, magazines and newspapers are full of articles on these topics, only a small number of people thinks deeply about these issues.

The greatest breakthrough in the history of disease control over the last few decades is the understanding of how a human organism works, how to manage your mind and body so that they work like a well-oiled machine decade after decade.


Let good health be in the list of your goals


The starting point for the health issue, energy storage and longevity is goal setting. It is necessary to sit and write down on a piece of paper the desire to live full life up to 80-90 years. Fix the thought in the present time like this: "I am 80 years old, I have excellent health, I am slim, flexible and I have all my abilities. I feel happy. I feel healthy. I feel great!"

By setting this goal you start the process of managing the other ones, determine exactly how are you going to move from there, where you are today to where you want to be in the future. Make a list of all the obstacles, both internal and external, that may interfere with the right course of events. Make a list of additional knowledge and skills that you will need to get in order to achieve the goal. Try to get as much information as possible about vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates, proteins and other substances, which determine the composition and quality of food.

Make a list of people, groups and organizations whose help you need to achieve your goal. Pay attention to the necessity of visiting doctors for regular medical chech-ups, they are able to detect problems a few years before you actually begin to feel uncomfortable. Most people who die young from various diseases, possibly, can be saved if the disease is diagnosed in time.

When you define all the components needed to achieve the goal, you will develop an action plan and you will follow it every day, every week, every month and every year.

You will define your precise weight and diet, plan of exercises and their frequency and frequency of medical examinations. You can join a fitness club and plan regular visits to a clinic. You will decide what habits need to be changed. You will gradually move towards your goal. The longer you follow the plan, the more likely you will develop the skills, which will guarantee you a long and happy life.
