Personal Growth Program' 21.
Announcement: PGP'21.
I am inspired to offer the fourth edition of our flagship year long personal growth program (PGP) starting in January 2021.
Details as under:
What?
This will be a continuous on-going engagement that will help set and track progress on up-to three goals/priorities that you want to focus on for the year using metrics that you care about.
Meaning you may decide simply hitting the gym everyday is more important for you than losing inches and that’s perfectly fine.
Or you want to get off the treadmill of the extractive strand of capitalism and discover your ikigai.
Your goals. You decide. These can be relationship goals, business goals, wealth goals, travel goals, career goals, what have you.
If goals are not your thing and it is simply mindful exploration you seek, even better.
Even with the best intentions, life happens and we lose track. This will be a gentle nudge. A safe, non-threatening space with an invitation to be vulnerable and politically in-correct. It is something I wish I had in the last decade or so.
How?
I will primary serve as a co-conspirator in this journey. One of the things I plan to be is a sounding board and ask questions. Where needed and asked for, give an opinion. Advice? Only on gunpoint.
The execution will need a time investment between 1-2 hours every week at your end. There will be three components:
(a) We will have a call every fortnight (45 minutes - 1 hour) or if we happen to be in the same geography, an in person meeting.
(b) We will curate exercises that aid the conversation and lead to reflection and introspection.
(c) There will be reading and watching material. You may be required to send in an assignment, every once in a while. The idea is to keep it fun, intimate and real.
Why?
At this stage of life, I am most driven by a need to contribute and make a meaningful difference.
Over the years, have had the opportunity to lead and learn from performance interventions for people from 50+ nationalities and of different sensibilities and world views. These include people in power and people in prisons.
In this time, have been exposed to and developed a decent understanding on the tracks of communication, relationships, entrepreneurship, business, psychology, philosophy, spirituality, careers, travel, finance and performance arts.
Who?
You can be anyone doing or not doing anything in any corner of the world. I get along just as well with millennials and their parents.
Present participants of the PGP include a popular actor in bollywood, a distinguished social leader from rural India, a prominent politician in Europe and the founding team of a tech start-up.
