Personal Growth & Development Through Professional Associations

Professional Organizations - I'm happy to announce my new membership with the Association for Talent Development of Central Florida. Outside of my experiences in the classroom both campus and online over the past 13+ years, I also train, coach, and consult professionals to learn, grow, and achieve success in their businesses. As I continue in education, training, and coaching, I want to continue expanding my knowledge and learn new techniques - especially with major changes in learning technology and the overall business learning environment.

With a growing importance in culture, storytelling, and staying on top of digital marketing strategies to launch a grow a brand, my approach is from a constant learning strategy from the perspective of all levels of the employees not just the CEO.

My main realization over the past few years with dealing with corporate branding clients: Education and learning is the core of the successful brand strategy. Through training we can realize a more authentic brand.

My own personal vision for personal growth and success also aligns with ATD's training model.

The Association for Talent Development Central Florida Chapter or ATDCFL is an award-winning leader in the professional development of Talent and Development enthusiasts in the greater Orlando area and beyond. 

VISION: To be the leader in workplace learning and performance in the Central Florida community. 

MISSION: We strive to INFORM, INVOLVE, and INSPIRE workplace learning and performance professionals of Central Florida and beyond. 

Every initiative, event, and activity our Chapter sponsors strives to supports one or more of these actions. In addition, we tailor our monthly programs and professional development events around the ATD Capability Model.

HOW PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS HELPED ME AFTER GRAD SCHOOL After graduate school, I interned and then started working at Florida Recreation and Parks Association in Tallahassee, Florida. That job led me to my next job in Palm Beach County which also led me to my next job in Kentucky! Without the connections and network established years before my career might have stalled. The networking and education were incredible at that point in my life. I highly recommend that you consider this opportunity in any stage of your career.
