Persistent Elbow Grease

I’m in a bit of a “organize my life” phase across physical and digital spaces.

Entropy is certainly the way of the universe and it’s somewhat interesting to see how things can fall apart.

The obvious ones are subscriptions that haven’t been cancelled, but I’m talking about orphaned 401k accounts from many years back and the like.

What I’ve re-learned to appreciate is how the consistent application of pressure and effort will, over time and with patience, yield results.

At a minimum, I can ask myself, “ok, did I do something today that pushed the ball down the field?”

I don’t need to score on every play, but, and even if it’s only 1/2 of a yard (sorry for the American football analogy), it still counts.
