Perry’s Micromat 2000 Purchase
Colin Irons
Engineering Sales Manager for MachTech/Lindner SRF/RDF, Waste & Recycling Specialists
With ever increasing demands for security shredding of confidential paper records in conjunction with General Data Protection Act Regulations and Industry best practice standards BSEN15713 to shred material in shorter time frames and potentially to different shred sizes. This meant we had to invest in the future to service our customers needs and ensure future legal compliance.
Perrys Recycling took another logical step and have recently installed a new Lindner Micromat 2000 into their Marston Magna depot near Yeovil.
Perrys Recycling remains a family owned business. With Chris Perry (Managing Director) Samantha Perry (Sales Director), matthew Perry (Transport Director), Ian Cook (Strategic Business Development Director) & Nick Perry (Production Director). With four shredding & recycling depots strategically placed across the South West. With National Customers serviced through ‘The Shredding Alliance Ltd’ – providing national coverage with regional service. The industry knows Perrys and their commitment to offering a first-class service for their customers.
Nick Perry said “It’s important to be able to process secure documents in accordance with all industry standards; the Lindner Micromat 2000 offers some of the best throughputs whilst maintaining a consistent homogenous fraction size, with random shred technology. With the Micromats modular screen panel change this takes only moments”.
Nick explained that they had explored the market for a while, and chose the Lindner Micromat 2000 because the specification matched exactly what they needed to achieve, and the sales process was made very easy.
The Lindner Micromat replaced an Allegheny and a Meltog that had served well over the years, but could no longer keep up with their increasing demands.
When asked about the installation process, Mr Perry added
“Mach-Techs installation team are very efficient, clean, and tidy about their work. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE SERVICE.”
