About 4 months ago, we welcomed Joris Van Nedervelde to our team. He already proved to be of immense value to Perpetos, as VP Sales & Commercial Excellence. We asked him how he experienced the first few months as part of our family:

After over 25 successful years in the complex world of software licensing sales, I thought I had seen it all. My journey was filled with countless victories, numerous sales club awards, and every excuse imaginable from both teammates and customers. With this wealth of experience, I joined Perpetos, admittedly with a bit of skepticism. I believed that with my extensive background, there wasn’t much left for me to learn.

However, my perception quickly changed. Immersing myself in Perpetos’ proven methodology, I began to reassess some of the deals I had missed over the years. To my surprise, I realized that I could pinpoint where things had gone off track.?

While I’m not claiming that I could have closed every single one of those deals, the insights I gained at Perpetos could have increased my success rate by at least 20%. In complex negotiations, even a slight improvement in language or a deeper understanding of the buyer's journey can make a significant difference.?

USED CASE: LECOT

When Pieter Morisse joined Lecot as Deputy CEO in 2020, changing the CRM system was one of the first points on his agenda. And he was happy to do so, because it would be a great way to immediately dive into the organization and its way of working. But he had one important condition: he wanted to set up a commercial excellence trajectory at the same time of choosing and implementing the new CRM package.
