PERMIT TO STAY OUTSIDE THE UAE FOR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS

UAE Residence Visa Holders who are outside the country for more than 6 months can now reactivate their visas online!?

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security has introduced a new service that allows you to apply for a permit to stay outside the country for more than 6 months.

Follow these 4 easy steps to apply via the ICP Smart Services/UAEICP Mobile Application:

1. Access the ICP Smart Services using your UAE Pass, username, or QR code.
2. Search for the required service.
3. Fill out the application form and submit the required documents.
4. Pay the service fees (if required).

To be eligible, you must:

• Submit the application from outside the country.
• Apply for the request after 180 days of staying outside the UAE.
• Enter the country within 30 days of the approval date.
• Provide a valid reason for staying outside the country for more than 180 days.

Please note that a fine of 100 AED will be charged for every 30 days or less spent outside the UAE. Also, check the terms and conditions and required documents before applying.

?Terms and Conditions

• The application will be automatically canceled after (30) days in case the application is returned due to missing data or non-completion of the required documents.
• The application will be canceled if it is returned (3) times due to missing data or non-completion of the required documents.
• Issuance fees are refunded only if the application was rejected by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security.
• All Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

• Proof of the reason for staying outside the country for more than 6 months (Optional)
• Please note that the mandatory/optional documents may vary depending on the data entered in the application.

You can submit your application via the ICP Smart Services/UAEICP Mobile Application.

The service fees include E-Services Fees (28 AED), ICP Fees (22 AED), and Smart Services Fees (100 AED). Please note that the service fees may vary based on the data entered in the application.
