The Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (#EDS) are heritable connective tissue disorders characterized by joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibility and connective tissue fragility. This review article has been written to shed light on the need for special consideration during #anesthesia and discuss principles of perioperative care in patients undergoing major or minor surgery.
