Perhaps it's time to make a little celebration list.

Monthly Love Letter for September 2024

Time is a funny thing. Sometimes so slow, it can feel like the things you have been dreaming of are so far away. Yet, in other moments, life can feel like a whirlwind making it hard to appreciate the present moments where you are actually realizing those dreams in real time.

When I sat down to write this Monthly Love Letter during my Monthly Club today, I was shocked to see that we are already a week into October. What even happened in September?

Well… perhaps this is a time for a gratitude / celebration list of sorts, where I can take a moment to really acknowledge all of the magic that happened in September:

• Celebrating the collaboration I was awarded with the Toronto Design Week coming up in Jan 2025
• Celebrating consistency in showing up to pilates, yoga, and dancing alone in my room
• Celebrating the freedom to enjoy the beautiful weather and lounge around my own backyard, gathering with friends and family to swim and eat delicious smores

• Celebrating the final design submission for the Celebrate Yourself Card Deck and holding the prototype in my own two hands!
• Celebrating receiving an investor for the card decks to bring them to life and place my first order for 500 decks!!!!!!!
• Celebrating spontaneous trips to drive over the border just to shop at Target and enjoy my favourite Tony's Chocolonely
• Celebrating spontaneous run-ins with friends at the market
• Celebrating facilitating four heart-felt workshops using all of the tools I love the most—hypnosis, movement, journaling, collaborative discussion
• Celebrating spontaneous indulgence of iced matcha lattes whilst reading a friend’s new book
• Celebrating the connection with new friends in feminist podcast and healer communities
• Celebrating my 33rd birthday with so many beautiful old and new friends who showed up to the launch party for my card deck on Kickstarter
• Celebrating the support from so many magical people as you each play such important roles in helping me realize my dreams… which I can already tell is inspiring so many to follow their own dreams too
• Celebrating the feeling of radiating sunshine even amongst all of the unknowns and uncertainty and the moments that don’t always feel so sunshiney

Perhaps this is a moment where you can give yourself…

??? The permission to celebrate every achievement, big or small, and acknowledge the magic unfolding in your life.

??? The permission to embrace spontaneity, allowing joy and adventure to weave into your everyday experiences.

??? The permission to prioritize self-care through movement, showing up for your body and mind with love and intention.

??? The permission to foster connections with others, nurturing the friendships and community that uplift your spirit.

??? The permission to acknowledge uncertainty, radiating positivity even in challenging moments, knowing they contribute to your growth.

There’s an invitation that exists here within the in between to find moments to celebrate all around you.
