Been a few months since I photographed a VW for Performance VW other than my own MK5 GTI, this time a MK2 GTI with a few modifications.

Dan's MK2 GTI has undergone a few changes over the years since he acquired the car, colour for one and the biggest change was an overhaul of the engine. He has put an Audi TT APX 20 valve engine in to the GTI which makes it a very hot hatch.?

The photoshoot took place in the private grounds of Allington Castle, the Nardo grey paintwork set off well against the the ancient backdrop, with courtyards, lakes, stand and the glorious early morning sunshine we couldn't have picked a better day. The full feature will be in a forthcoming edition of Performance VW magazine which has a worldwide readership.
