Application - Conveyor No. DPC-1 & DC-3 of 1200mm belt width
Conveyor Portfolio - DPC-1 is the receiving conveyor after the primary crusher & DC-3 is the receiving conveyor after the secondary crusher.
Challenge –
Both the conveyors faced severe spillage issues:
·????24 Tons of material was spilling from each conveyor every month.
·????Unscheduled shutdowns with engagement of manpower for cleaning, requirement of technicians for scraper adjustment & need for identification and replacement of the damaged rollers.
Solution –
Tega experts audited conveyor no DPC-1 and recommended use of technically advanced under the belt metallic blade C2 scrapers replacing the lower efficient scraper of another make.
Results –
The following improvements were observed after the installation of C2 scraper:
·?????????Spillage reduced from 24 Tons/month to 3.6 Tons/month.
·?????????The scraper efficiency improved by nearly 17%.
·??????????Spillage cleaning frequency reduced from twice a week to once every 3 weeks.
·??????????Scraper adjustment frequency changed to once every 45 days from once every 15 days.
·?????????The above improvements resulted into substantial annual savings
Features of product –
The advanced technical features of C2 scraper resulted in a superior performance in comparison to the existing scraper. Some of the features are:
·?????????Contact with the belt surface at positive angle in lieu of 90°.
·?????????Overlapped blade modules.
·?????????Unique axial rotation to take care of the unevenness in the belt.

Reordering of product –
After the performance of C scraper in DPC-1, customer promptly reordered C series scraper for DC-3 conveyor, which faced similar spillage issues. After successful installation of C2 scraper in DC-3 conveyor, customer got similar results and is extremely satisfied.
