One of the UK's most active YouTubers, with over 75,000 subscribers, Petrol Ped is Mr Mini and his Roadster JohnCooper Works was a recent car photography shoot I covered for Performance Mini magazine at Goodwood motorsport circuit.
Ped Greaves Mini Roadster in JCW guise is a rare car now and with the modifications that he has added on to the car it is a real track day weapon, so when he mentioned that he was taking part in the Goodwood auto solo competition it seemed an ideal opportunity to cover the event for the magazine shoot. Perfect weather on a Sunday morning made the shoot, plus the various backdrops at Goodwood are ideal for a high performance hot Mini.
We had plenty of down time in between Ped's track time trials to capture a variety of angles and backdrops, the track sessions finished the day off nicely, the fact that he won the event was an added bonus! I used all four Profoto lights at one stage to lift the shadows of the stealthy looking Roadster, the fill in light really adds to the overall impact of the shoot.
