Every manager or leader must motivate their team members to achieve the outstanding work in the organization. That is the main responsibility of every manager or leaders. But unfortunately, at the stage of performance appraisal, only 2 out of 10 employees strongly agree that their performance is managed in a way that motivates them to do outstanding work. So, we need to Managing employees to perform effectively requires good leaders and line managers to identify and implement specific strategies that keep employees motivated to continually perform well and produce outstanding work.

A better motivation system impacts creating a good working culture and every manager should be responsible for focusing on the best strategies for increasing it and ensuring they are creating a great place to work environment for employees can be inspired in and thrive in. Employee motivation impacts organization performance in many positive ways. Motivated employees are more productive, happier at work, more committed to the vision, better collaborators, and more likely to stay with the organization. So, Effective performance management is essential for every organization to have a better motivation process and high performance. So, this article will explore the ways motivation affects performance and how managers can boost employee motivation to improve employee performance.

What is Motivation?

The theoretical aspect is that motivation means the level of energy, commitment, or creativity. But my personal view of motivation is the willingness to work. However, the results of employee motivation will bring good results for the organization.

Motivation drives employee success and plays a vital role. It increases employee satisfaction, less absenteeism, and minimizes employee turnover as well. Improved performance impacts customer satisfaction, which can boost organizational performance. In addition, the below-mentioned information can be considered as well.
