What sort of a boss are you, are you a nice person who employees find pleasure around with or you that person who is self-centred and aptly apply your status quo to undermine the growth and performance of your juniors? Sometimes you have to compromise, yes, but to whose interest?

It should be noted that the performance of a business is a proposition of employee-customer relations with the hearty support of the management. The misalignment of the latter breeds cold war and conflict among the stakeholders and partners. To mitigate such instances, therefore, a cordial existence should be reflected in the business culture, informed by constant consultations when resolving matters of interest impacting the business; directly/indirectly. Again, the management ought to be guided by both short terms and long terms objectives, not forgetting the vision-mission statements of the business. Being realistic is ideal in business, and as management, keenness and attention to details should be a point of focus. This will not only enable the business to up its performance but also be aware of other internal/external factors which may curl down the ultimate goal of the business unit.

N/B: Sometimes you ought to make tough decisions for the sake of the business regardless of who is/are involved. In any engagement, it should be noted that nobody is bigger than the business in context.
