Perfection unattainable
From day one we started drafting and thinking about our goals from this year, we made a plan for each one of them and now we found a partner to hold us accountable. What comes next?
This is the part where you should invest all your energy in, making those resolutions happen with patience and dedication. For example, you wrote about going to the gym more often and eat healthy. Now, January is almost over and you are having a week full of work and couldn’t make it to the gym or eat healthy a few days. Are you going to beat yourself up over this? Or will you rise and commit to improve your planning skills so this won’t happen again in the future? Whichever it is remember, if you miss a few days of your routine it doesn’t mean you need to give up on goals.
Everybody has ups and downs, resolve to recover from your mistakes and get back on track as soon as possible. You have a whole year to achieve your goals, don’t be so hard on yourself.
