We are all consciously or subconsciously working towards building our perfect life.
Sometimes these may not be "designed" but a by product of our upbringing and we break into goals like "buying the right house and it often a sequence of a journey like get a qualification, get a job, find a partner, get married, kids, promotion; however in todays uncertain times it isn't always in this sequence because life gets in the way, be it illness, unemployment, divorce, war etc.
We usually feel that we will know that we have our perfect life because we will feel that we are in the right place and where we belong.
For many of us the key parameters are job, home, partner etc.
Are you in the right place and feel you belong?
Do you actually review if you are happy and content with these?
Often the only time we take time to review if we have the right goals or are on the right journey is when something goes wrong like unemployment, sickness, divorce etc and if we get overwhelmed we may even get depressed.
It is usually then that we reassess what we really want and spend time figuring out our "why"
Life is in stages and at each stage these "goals" and the mix of the perfect life and focus may change so instead of job prospects and promotion it might be about find the right partner or time with the children or travel, novelty and new experiences.

Life is about change and evolution and figuring out the next stage in our life.
Once we figure out
the how of life becomes a lot easier but it can be hard to figure it out.
Taking a holistic approach to life can be hard and asking yourself tough questions like what are my goals and why or who I am and want to be can feel overwhelming and when you ask yourself these questions it can feel very uncomfortable.
So, to help you assess things start with two simple exercises:
Now of course life is never perfect and once you actually have it, it is human nature to habituate and want something new and different.
a comprehensive visualisation of an ideal day, focusing on sensory details, emotions, and personal preferences, helps to create a vivid and meaningful picture of what a 'perfect day' looks for you.
Love to get your feedback and thoughts on this and the two exercises outline above.
