The Perfect Intro (in 6 words or less)

The Perfect Intro (in 6 words or less)

It’s admittedly old-fashioned, but first impressions still matter.

Some experts insist we tend to size up new people we meet in less than 60 seconds. In other words, you have less than a minute to make a mark that could create a significant tipping point in your life or career.

Think about the specific words you use to introduce yourself when you meet someone new. And then do the math. One study says we meet about 1,000 new people each year. Which works out to about 80,000 people in a lifetime. And let’s face it many of us have fumbled that conversational football many times over.

You never get a second chance to make powerful first impressions; the kind that help you score points with influencers who can open new doors.

After an embarrassing introduction to one of his heroes, my friend (and lifelong Packers fan) Clay developed a simple framework to confidently introduce yourself or your business. So simple, that you can accomplish this feat in only six words or less.

If you believe the "elevator pitch" is a relic from the past and you want more conversations that spark real connection, feel free to eavesdrop on a chat with crowdfunding expert Clay Hebert and his insights on The Perfect Intro on this edition of The Reinvention Chronicles.
