Creating content for multiple platforms can feel overwhelming. Trust me, I get it. You’re juggling ideas, filming, posting, and engaging all while trying not to burn out. That’s why I developed a system to help you create one piece of content and turn it into many, saving you time and keeping your content fresh.
1.Determine Your Monthly Focus
Before you start creating content, decide what your primary focus is for the month. Is it getting more leads, increasing sales, or growing your followers?
Knowing your focus helps you create content with intention. For example, if your goal is to sell a course, your content should highlight the value of that course and why your audience needs it.
2.Choose Four Big Topics
Pick four topics that align with your monthly goal and that your audience is actively searching for. These topics should have enough depth for you to create multiple pieces of content around them.
For instance, if your goal is to grow your social media following, your topics might be:
3.Create 5-7 Bullet Points for Each Topic
Break each big topic down into 5-7 bullet points. These points will become the foundation for your long-form content, short videos, blogs, and social media posts.
If your topic is “How to grow on TikTok,” your bullet points might include:
领英推荐
4. Film Four 20-Minute Videos
Record one long-form video for each topic, aiming for at least 20 minutes. These videos will be uploaded to YouTube weekly.
Don’t overthink the setup—use your phone, some good lighting, and a simple background. The key is to provide valuable information and connect with your audience.
5. Repurpose Bullet Points into mini-blogs
Each bullet point from your long-form videos can be turned into a mini blog or article. Post these on LinkedIn and your website to reach readers who prefer written content.
This is a great way to maximize your content and reach a wider audience without creating something completely new.
6. Turn Bullet Points into Short Videos
Short-form videos are essential for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest Idea Pins.
Instead of just chopping up your long-form video, film fresh short videos based on your bullet points. This approach feels more authentic and performs better on social media.
7. Create Carousels and Threads
Use your bullet points to design carousels for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Threads. Carousels keep your audience engaged by encouraging them to swipe through multiple slides.
Platforms like Canva make it easy to create visually appealing carousels. Post the same bullet points as weekly threads on Threads to start meaningful conversations.
Plan, Create and Distribute with Intention. This system might sound like a lot, but it’s all about working smarter, not harder. One piece of content becomes blogs, short videos, carousels, and more. You’re simply breaking it down and distributing it strategically. Remember, you don’t have to do all seven steps, start with what feels manageable and build from there.
If you’re ready to get intentional with your content creation and see real results, I’d love to help. Join me in my 3-Day Reels & TikTok Challenge to go from invisible to influential this year. Let’s do this together!
