The question of satisfaction from a city’s public open space has been studied quite a bit, however, many studies typically focus on green spaces in the city, their form or maintenance, and much less other important characteristics of the urban space, such as its cultural or social profile. This paper, drawing on the existing bibliography, proceeds to identify those characteristics that affect the #residential_satisfaction of open urban space, as an empirical study, in a medium-sized Greek city.
