• Stuff of nightmares: Reddit user PizzaLater used a combination of GPT-4 for scriptwriting, Midjourney for images, and Runway Gen2 for videos to create a 30-second ad for an imaginary restaurant called 'Pepperoni Hug Spot.' It's... unsettling.
• Bard "better at coding" than ChatGPT:?Google's chatbot recently received updates including code generation, debugging, and explanation tools in over 20 different languages. "This latest set of skills could help Bard at least keep apace with ChatGPT and Claude — at least on paper," said TechCrunch.
• GPT patent pending: OpenAI has asked the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) to speed up the GPT trademark application they submitted in December last year, citing “myriad infringements and counterfeit apps.”
• Snap struggles with chatbot implementation: Remember My AI by Snapchat? Over the past week (as reported in more detail on Morning Brew Daily), Snap's average app store review in the US was 1.67 stars. 75% of those reviews were 1 star, and the top keyword in recent reviews is 'AI.'
