Peoria Promise is educating tomorrow's leaders!

Peoria Promise is in a unique position as the only group providing financial support for students living in the city of Peoria. Consider this:

PROGRAM FACTS $5.0 million in scholarships have been provided through December 2019. Over 3,100 students have been awarded funds since 2008. 47% are first in family to attend college. 66% would not have attended college without Peoria Promise. 75% of Peoria Promise recipients are employed while in school. 16% are working in a career field of study while in school. 89% of our alumni are working in Greater Peoria. 70% + are working in Peoria

STUDENT STATISTIC 84% Peoria Public School students – 15 % Private School students, 1% Home School, 67% low income (based on EFC from College FAFSA application), 64% diversity in students (Asian, African American, Latino, other), 70% of the available jobs in market only required a 2-year certificate. 65% increase in applications in the past 2 years (2017 and 2019)

FUNDING: 100% Donor Funded Tuition Reimbursement program. NO local, state or federal tax dollars are collected. Peoria Promise is the ONLY PROGRAM OF ITS KIND in our community.
