Welcome to this first edition of the People*Strata newsletter. The decision to publish came about recently, when our team was engaged in a conversation about return-to-work policies and then pivoted to the importance of sharing our collective expertise and insights with a broader audience. The goal here is to help inform our community of what we encounter on a daily basis and hopefully spur conversations that provide value for readers and participants. In that spirit, we intend this forum to amplify current market trends in the talent and broader HR space. Plans for future editions include sharing some of our collective data around compensation and equity, diversity and inclusion best practices, and thoughts on company culture, among others. We hope you enjoy and welcome feedback of all kinds and thank you!?

To start, finding retaining and developing quality talent still remains at the top of the list every company faces. According to the survey below from Gartner.com, post-Covid trends shows this still be true in a market that is forever changed for employers, candidates and talent acquisition specialists.

This month we feature Melissa Feucaloro, Talent Acquisition at People*Strata. Melissa joined the People*Strata team in September 2021 and when asked why People*Strata? Melissa stated she has worked with several RPO firms in the past but felt she had finally found a team of seasoned professionals with great leadership and a model that offers value unlike any other. Melissa enjoys working with the diversified client base that has unique talent requirements, and she appreciates the vast opportunity for upward mobility at People*Strata.?Melissa started her professional career in corrections and then received a BA in Human Resource Management. She has 3 children, two of which are Veterans and the youngest is joining the Marine Corps next year.?

Melissa finds that in today’s marketplace the main challenge is getting your message through to passive candidates due to the unprecedent volume of hiring across verticals. The team at People*Strata has addressed these challenges though our proprietary technology stack combined with our collaborative culture. For the second half of 2022, Melissa is hoping to engage with as many new clients as possible and exceed their expectations as we begin future partnerships.
