People Who Are Changing The World

People Who Are Changing The World

I'm so excited about the people who have agreed to be featured on my social good interview series, called Social Good Six.

In essence Social Good Six showcases the talents of amazing people who are changing the world in a diverse range of fields and asks them six simple questions.

I'd like to pick out 6 people to share with you. There are so many brilliant people who have agreed to be involved, so please take a look at the whole series!

Chris Guillebeau- During a lifetime of self-employment that included a four-year commitment as a volunteer executive in West Africa, he visited every country in the world (193 in total) before his 35th birthday. Since then he has modeled the proven definition of an entrepreneur: “Someone who will work 24 hours a day for themselves to avoid working one hour a day for someone else.”

Chris’s first book, The Art of Non-Conformity, was translated into more than twenty languages. His second book, The $100 Startup, was a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller, selling more than 500,000 copies worldwide. His third book, The Happiness of Pursuit, was published in September 2014 and was also a New York Times bestseller. His fourth book, Born for This, helps you find the work you were meant to do. Every summer in Portland, Oregon, Chris hosts the World Domination Summit, a gathering of creative, remarkable people with thousands in attendance. Chris is also the founder of Pioneer Nation, Unconventional Guides, the Travel Hacking Cartel, and numerous other projects.

Henry Stewart- Henry Stewart is the founder and Chief Executive of Happy. Founded as Happy Computers in his back room in Hackney 20 years ago, it created a reputation for the most enjoyable and involving IT training available. The company is now focused on helping organisations create truly great workplaces and has won wide recognition for its innovative approach to management and to customer service. Management Today voted Happy as the best company in the UK for customer service, in an award previously won by First Direct and Nationwide Building Society. The company has been rated among the top 20 workplaces in the UK, in the Financial Times/Great Place to Work institute Best Workplaces awards, for five successive years – as well as the very best company in the country for health and well-being.

In 2011 Henry was listed in the Guru Radar of the Thinkers 50 list of the most influential business thinkers in the world. “He is one of the thinkers who we believe will shape the future of business”, explained list compiler Stuart Crainer. His first book, Relax, was published in 2009. His second book, The Happy Manifesto, was published in January 2012. Both are available from Amazon.

DNX Toolbox is a wiki with tools, tips and resources for future Digital Nomads. In addition to the DNX world, he offers a variety of services. Online Angels advises businesses in Online Marketing, conducts analyses, develops traffic strategies and deals with their operative implementation as well. Rock my Site develops websites for companies and freelancers with modern designs.
