People in the West have more divorce rates as they call fewer people to their weddings.

Westerners call 20 people at a wedding spending much lesser money on ceremonies. Could that be the reason for the higher divorce rate in the West versus the East?

But why?

Social shame can bring out all forms of human insecurities. With 300++ closest people attending your wedding in the eastern societies, all forms of exclusive clothes, dance performances, gold exchange, and lavishness can restrict the human mind to think about dissociation.

But why?

In ancient times, whosoever got away from the herd was found dead or killed by animals etc. So, more people could mean higher fear which could translate into lesser divorce rates in the East.

Does this mean that if we have to solve divorce rates, westerners should call more people to weddings? Lol. Anyways it’s only a hypothesis.
