To People That Want To Start Scheduling Automation But Are Afraid To Get Started

Honestly, I get it, I really do.

A little over ten years ago I started my first job in the IT/Business world, having decided to break from my life’s passion of working with animals.

All of the sudden, instead of spending hours every day cleaning up after various types of animals, seeing to their well-being, and enjoying their company, I was now sitting at a desk in an office; and frankly was a little shell shocked.

My first job was with a leading network management company doing support for an IBM online web conferencing tool – thus began my exposure to SaaS (Software as a Service, usually cloud based) products.

Call after call was new users that were completely lost by the concept and needed desperate help joining a conference they had been invited to by a client, a vendor, or even their boss.

But as web conferencing tools such as GoToMeeting gained popularity, the level of the technology grew continually better, and now I doubt there is anyone in the modern business world that is not aware of these tools.

Enter Scheduling Automation, not a new concept by any means, but one that is growing in popularity on a daily basis.

Why? Because it works, because the benefits are almost endless, because as we continue to become more and more digital in our lives, we need the convenience of having our schedules on our mobile devices, we need to be able to pick up open shifts without calling our managers, we need to be able to communicate with our peers without needing to have everyone’s phone numbers.

Every technology has its “infancy” stage, but Scheduling Automation is now past that, and the powerful platforms available allow businesses to reap the benefits.

Give it a try, you will not regret it!
