People want a good experience
People want to get a good treatment whether they are willing to buy your service right now or not.
That's why we go to a hospital and pay a handsome amount without giving a second thought on why they are asking for more money every other day.
Because we just want to ensure that our loved ones are getting their best service.
They want to save your good image in their mind so that whenever they need a Service like yours, they can remember you to call or connect with you.
Prices do come in between the buying decision but it is just a factor that we salesmen consider as an epidemic thing.
The thing is we want to sell right now but they might be thinking to buy your service after some time or not also.
And it is a reality that we say something aloud to them to make them fearful about their family, future and belongings.
Sometimes, it really works!!!
In the case of Financial matters like mutual funds or insurance, we talk about losing their earning person(s) as the financial loss. Here, we talk about 2 types of losses: emotional and financial.
If a person is not alive, we can't recover that emotional pain but we might be able to recover the economic losses that his/her family is suffering from right now.
Here, we create an urgency that is possible or not, we don't know but death is a certain thing.
And Sales revolves around these 3 things: Love, Time and Death.
We create urgencies on the basis of these three things only everywhere.
We don't want to lose our loved ones due to our silly mistakes (As described by us) that may not be a genuine mistake like not buying an insurance policy but we do create a hype that not buying an insurance policy makes us a bad person in our mind.
But you can't create an urgency in every types of sales!!!
People do affirm that they need a Service that your company provides but they don't need that right now.
Maybe you can prove that they do need your service right now to get recovered or to fulfill some sort of needs or dreams.
But they take action according to their will. They don't want to take action against their will. They like to buy your service but according to their needs and customs.
Here, you have to show yourself with a good service tag without any bad reviews. A bad review on internet can decrease your sales.
People don't want to buy from you when they hear about your bad reputation on internet. Here, I'm not going to talk about whose mistake(s) it really was.
I am really not interested to talk about this rubbish thing that your customer did make a false claim there that you didn't approve and in return, she gave you a bad rating on some websìtes.
Here, you are a service provider and you are responsible for every acts your present customers make anywhere whether ìt be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Glassdoor or Mouthshut or Quora.
Your customers' actions can't be controlled and you can't deny that you were not wrong in providing your service to them.
But your reactions should be something like beautiful. Actually, you shouldn't react to their views about your service.
Here, you have to respond to their reviews as their queries against your misinformation or misinterpretation or misrepresentation about your service.
When you respond to their reviews as their queries about your service, they acclaim your each and every words.
In the end, they are not your haters, they are just your customers who want your generous and genuine services.
