Here’s a people tool that will do wonders.
How much do people like recognition? Short answer. A lot. In fact, people leave jobs simply due to lack of appreciation. The fact is most of us need to give more. And we probably see many opportunities to give recognition but if the timing isn’t right, we hold off.

“Silent gratitude isn’t much good to anyone.”?
We all know we miss opportunities to give people appreciation all the time. We get busy. It slips off our priority list. We plan to but forget. It’s hard, we say. It’s even harder when we work from home. In our digital world, we often work with people we may never see in person. We only see them in meetings. Rarely one-on-one. Never in the cafeteria or walking the halls.
The point is,?in our disconnected world we need to make appreciation a priority. One solution. The 30 second email. We you see someone who did something good; stop whatever you are doing and write them an email or message them on Slack or Teams or whatever you use.?
