People Stories: Jamie Robertson, First Notice of Loss Lead
For this month's edition of People Stories, where we get to know our teammates a little better, I connected with Jamie Roberston. As our FNOL (First Notice of Loss) Lead, Jamie is central to our in-house Claims function, which we recently launched in the UK.

What do you appreciate most about the culture at INSHUR??
I really appreciate the ‘people first’ approach at INSHUR. From day one it is clear that everybody is brought into our shared values and goals. Always assuming positive intent with everything we do has been something really refreshing for me since joining. Working in a positive environment where individuality and candid feedback is truly valued is intrinsic here.
I am actively encouraged and supported to continue to develop my skills and knowledge, share that knowledge with others, express myself and innovate. It's something many places try to achieve, but to see firsthand how well it works, when it's done well, is deeply motivating.
What’s the best piece of (work) advice you’ve ever received??
If someone is willing to take the time to give you their guidance or advice, you would do well to listen - it’s entirely up to you on the other hand what you do with that advice.

What cheers you up??
Honest answer is sharing a nice bottle of red with someone. (There has to be crackers and cheese!)... Failing that, the programme Peep Show always makes me laugh.
