Hi Luna! Let’s start from the very beginning. Would you like to give us a quick introduction on who you are and what your role at Statista is??

Hi! I’m Luna and I work as a Junior HR Manager in the HR Operations team at Statista.?

Why did you join Statista??

I initially started as a working student in the Talent Acquisition team. Back then I was looking for an interesting student job to accompany my studies. I knew Statista from University and I really liked the idea of working for a company that does something useful by providing reliable data.?

Your first day at Statista – how do you remember it and what has changed since then??

As I was working remotely during my time as a working student, the biggest change for me personally was probably that I now come to the office regularly. Even though I was welcomed very warmly on my first remote day, it is so much more fun to actually meet the people you are working with.?

How did Statista support you in your journey to where you are now??

When I communicated that I was interested in switching to the HR team, Statista was very supportive. From the moment I told my former team lead in Talent Acquisition to my first day in the HR team, it’s only been 6 weeks.?

What is the best part about your job??

I really like the international context we work in. Our HR team is not only responsible for the employees here in Germany, but also for those based in our other offices around the world. For example, I also take care of all operational HR matters for the colleagues in Singapore. Constantly being confronted with new topics and having contact with a lot of different people, makes my job never boring.?

In general, I really enjoy the supportive and relaxed atmosphere in our HR team, which made it very easy for me to quickly feel as part of the team.?
