Hi Nadine! Thank you for being here today. Could you start by introducing yourself and explaining your role at Statista??

My name is Nadine. I am an Industrial Engineer and Communication Psychologist. I have worked for several years in consultancy focusing on operational excellence and transformation. I started in June this year as Team Lead IT Project Management in?PIT. Together with my team we are initiating and leading cross-functional projects. My role includes the definition of project and process management standards for PIT, the leading of own projects and support of Statista-wide initiatives like AI. Additionally, I will act as a PM expert trainer beginning next year on.?

We're curious about what led you to join Statista. What motivated your decision??

I was looking for an employer who would offer me a large playground where I can contribute my experience in project management, change management and operational excellence and where I can help to shape the future of the company. I already?knew someone here at Statista who motivated me to join.?

If you could give some advice to your younger self, what would it be??

First, look out for a mentor who can guide and inspire you. Second, don't underestimate the power of networking, even if it's not your natural inclination.?

Now moving on to your job's highlights, what do you enjoy most about your role at Statista??

What I enjoy most about my role is that it never gets boring. There are countless topics we can tackle, and I'm eager to explore them all. It's like a huge playground, and the best part is that I'm surrounded by exceptional people here at Statista who are open to change, and I don't take that for granted at all. We get to dive into fascinating subjects like AI and the professionalization of project management, breaking free from silo thinking. But what truly stands out are my colleagues. They are hands-on, solution-oriented, and have a positive mindset. Walking down the halls, you can hear them laughing and enjoying their work while they discuss challenges in a solution-oriented way. I highly appreciate the work climate here.?

Could you tell us a bit about your team??

I am thankful for my team that is currently going through a learning and development journey to professionalize the project and process management. I am very proud of them. Together we have a lot of knowledge?about products, methodology and organization as a team and that makes us stand out.?

Do you have any memorable or fun moments from your time at Statista that you'd like to share??

One memorable and fun moment from my time at Statista was during my fourth month here when we had the Summer Party at the Millerntor stadium. It was, without a doubt, one of the best company parties I've ever attended.?
