PEOPLE ARE SAVING LESS THAN 5%

A powerful questions we can ask ourselves is, “What happens to people who do not get help?”
Knowing that most financial service companies focus only on the wealthy, where does that leave most of the people we know? Undereducated about how much they need to save? Underprepared for the future? Underprotected in the case of hardship? Underserved by financial professionals who could help make a difference in their lives?
Remember these 2 staggering statistics:
There’s a gap between the number of people who say they need life insurance (65%) and those who own it (59%).(2)
Two-thirds of middle-income American workers – those earning between $40,000-$99,999 – are saving less than 5% of their annual income for retirement and nearly 25% are saving nothing at all.(3)
To hit closer to home, let me ask the original question more specifically: “What happens to the people you know who do not get help?” You know the answer to that one.
