Welcome to “The People Powering UserWay,” a new LinkedIn article series in which we’ll be spotlighting the talented team members who drive our mission forward every day. First up is Murielle Wolfman , SDR Team Leader.

Tell us a bit about yourself – where you’re from, where you went to school etc.

I am originally from Montreal, Canada. I moved to Israel nine years ago with one of my sisters. While it was hard to leave behind the rest of my family, like my other two sisters and my parents, it seems everything else, like my husband, child, and career, was waiting for me here.?

In Canada, I studied economics at Concordia University, and I studied law after moving to Israel. I quickly realized that my sales background was what I was more comfortable with.?

When did you first start working at UserWay? How did you first hear about it??

I started to work at UserWay in January 2023. I was lucky enough to have a friend of mine recommend me to someone she knew in the company. I got the job in the midst of a challenging job market and was very grateful for the opportunity.

Can you tell us what an average day looks like for you??

Recently, I was promoted to team leader. I now manage a team of 3. My average day includes several managerial meetings, answering questions to ensure my team can do their job efficiently, and communicating with my own potential clients to book meetings with our Account Executives.?

Name 3 things you enjoy about working at UserWay.?

• We get to work on a product that can change the system for those who need it most.
• While we are a remote-first company, I feel like I’ve learned so much from such a diverse group of people across the globe.??
• The trust the team has in my ability to excel at my job.?

What do you want to change about the world?

I wish we could have more compassion for one another. Love can take more effort, but it’s always worth it.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a lawyer and be able to help people in times of need. I was always called the devil's advocate and tried to protect others. I still have this tendency but have learned that there are many ways to help others outside of a courtroom. Equality and equity are very different, and with UserWay I can now offer both for a large portion of the world that faces disabilities, including invisible disabilities.?

If you could have any superpower, what would it be??

I would love to have healing powers.?

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love being with my family and exploring our beautiful country. I love to host and plan events. On the side, I help host birthday parties for children and adults and it is something I truly enjoy — seeing smiles and happiness on others' faces.?
