Get to know Dor Barak , Head of UserWay's Referral Partner Program.?

Hey Dor! Tell us a bit about yourself and your background.

I’ve always found joy in building connections — whether through friendships, sports, or in my career. Bringing people together to create something meaningful has always come naturally to me.?

My career started in digital marketing and media, but I realized pretty quickly that building mutually beneficial business partnerships is where the real magic happens.

Since joining UserWay, my role has evolved, and I now manage the Referral Partner Program. It's the perfect blend of strategy, relationship-building, and working each day towards UserWay's mission of making the internet a more accessible place.

When did you start working at UserWay?

I came on board at the end of 2022. Time’s flown by since then, and it's been incredible to witness the impact we've created.

How did you first hear about UserWay?

I first heard about UserWay through some of my contacts in the tech world. Once I learned about their mission, I was all in. I knew I wanted to be part of something bigger and more meaningful, and the role at UserWay felt like the perfect fit.

Can you tell us what an average day looks like for you?

My days are a dynamic mix of managing partnerships, leading strategy calls, and ensuring our referral partners and the program as a whole run smoothly. You'll often find me in meetings with partners, brainstorming new ideas, and collaborating with our incredible team on various initiatives that drive digital accessibility deeper into the heart of our industry.??

What’s a project you’ve particularly enjoyed working on?

One of the projects I've been most passionate about is launching our referral partners promotion. When we tested it last year, the response was phenomenal. By collaborating closely with our partners, we developed a promotion that not only drives growth for UserWay but also delivers real value to them.

Watching the program grow and witnessing its impact — in terms of new leads and strengthened relationships — was a standout moment for me.

Building on that success, we've brought it back for Q4 2024 — this time with even more incentives and tailored support for our partners. We've added new tools and resources to help them thrive, and it's exciting to see the momentum building again.

1. The mission: Helping make the internet accessible to everyone is something I’m really proud of.

2. The team: The people are talented, passionate, and fun to work with.

3. The constant innovation: There’s always something new happening, which keeps things exciting and fresh.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Growing up, I was all about sports — especially handball. I poured my heart into the game and even played professionally for a time. While life eventually steered me in a different direction, the competitive edge and teamwork skills I gained on the court have definitely carried over into my career. That drive to excel and the ability to strategize under pressure continue to fuel my passion for what I do today.

What do you want to change about the world?

I’d love to see a world where tech brings people together instead of creating more gaps. I'm proud to work for a company where this is a central part of our mission. By making digital spaces accessible and inclusive for everyone — we're actively moving in the right direction. It's inspiring to see firsthand how our efforts unite people and create genuine connections.
