Four-Day Work Week Update
Over 1,000 UK workers from 17 businesses are testing a four-day workweek in the latest pilot led by the 4 Day Week Campaign.
Findings from this trial will be presented to the Labour Government next summer. Previous trials have shown positive impacts on productivity, employee well-being, and job retention. Could a four-day workweek be the future of work? ??

Si Pittam is searching for a Technical Artist with expertise in Unity to work on a bespoke 3D VR application and assist the client with some performance issues. This software takes a 2D CAD design and generates a 3D scene in real time that is then pushed through to wired VR headsets.
The role is an IMMEDIATE START and is open to UK/EU-based candidates only. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
?? Procedural environmental lighting
?? Asset creation for Arch Viz or general photorealistic uses.
?? Unity HDRP (essential)
?? VR performance / optimisation
The role is for an initial 3 months and can be fully remote (UK / Europe-based candidates only) with a pay rate of up to ￡400 per day.

?? Equal Pay Day 2024: November 20th
The Fawcett Society has set Equal Pay Day for November 20th this year—two days earlier than 2023.
This marks a troubling step back as the UK gender pay gap widens to 11.3%. From this date onward, women effectively work for free compared to men.
