People, Planet & Profit - Triple Bottomline
Over the last few weeks, we have been inundated with analysis and insights on the emerging New Normal as people around the world get accustomed to living in lockdown. The concept is certainly not abstract anymore. Working from home for the last few weeks has also given me new a perspective on work-life balance – investing equally in family and colleagues, creativity and chores and most importantly, self-care. From reducing food wastage by becoming more conscious of what we eat and how we cook to curbing unnecessary expenditure on non-essential items, I find new habits taking hold and new attitudes shaping.
?The lockdown has forced us to rethink everyday decisions and routines – and the positive effects of some of these practical changes are seen right outside our windows as nature flourishes and blooms. I do hope that this conscientiousness shapes our new normal, one that is focused on sustainability. The overall business perspective needs to shift to the triple bottom-line of People, Planet and Profit becomes a focal point. What are some of the conscious changes you have made to your lifestyle that you would like to become a way of life?

4 年Wonderful to see many making the conscious effort to make a difference! The trick is to be committed and continue even when we get back after lock down. Whilst human nature adapts fast but it forgets faster! Let’s not forget the learnings we have got in this period and continue to be a conscious citizen of this beautiful planet!??
