People Judge A Book By Its Cover Because They Do Not Read.

There is a saying that,” You should not judge a book by its cover”. But does that imply when it comes to the corporate culture or while taking certain professional decisions or while choosing certain companies to work for?

Earlier, people used to judge a book by its cover! Now they judge a company by its website and experience

Is this true to some extent with the way we react to people? The way wrappers affect our expectations about what lies inside them, is similar to the way we expect from people as well?

Judging anyone or any company/industry wouldn't be a problem by itself if it weren't also true that we're so often more influenced by our own biases than we are by actual evidence.

The most vital thing for your ideal customer when he/she lands on your website is to have a smooth and appealing website and an experience. We all carry around with us the conclusions that we have drawn about other people through which we filter everything and make certain decisions. Certainly, over time these conclusions change, but even then our conclusions often remain highly biased.
