PEOPLE care about PEOPLE

I think it is safe to say that most of us do care about others in countries we never heard about. I also think that it is almost impossible to care about people you do not know about or never met.

I care about the future of Ukraine because I know some of the people. Last year I started out caring because I had a few friends in Ukraine. For one year I have been meeting and learning about more and more people.

Want to know something? That is what is making me care more and more. The horror stories just shock me and freak me out. But what makes me care... I mean care on the level that I know something needs to be done... is not the horror stories. What makes me care are the Ukrainians I met who live in and out of Ukraine.

This is why I make such a big deal about networking with Ukraine. There is literally millions of people who are Ukraine living outside of Ukraine. I know they want more to be done. They do not just need to meet people. They need to meet people POWERFULLY in a positive context for action.

I am scared this is a proxy war. I am really scared that there is a very good chance it will be dragged out from both sides for years. The civilians need to recognize their power and develop ways to collaborate. I understand everyone is busy and everyone is overwhelmed.

That is the very reason we all need to learn how to work TOGETHER more. I and the rest of us, lack the social skills to do it easily. So... no... it will not be easy. It will be incredibly hard. I also see that we are willing to learn and grow. I see many supporting many others. In these areas that groups form I see successes. In areas I see people taking on anything alone... I see massive failure.

For the first time in human history we have the ability to share our ideas to others not just in our city, or country but with everyone else on the planet. At the speed of light we can send out volumes of information and request assistance.

At the very same time. I think most of us now lack the ability to grasp that we all can make an incredible difference just by sharing our views with our hearts.

If only 1% of the West gets to really know Ukraine. (That is 10 Million people.) I think that politics will not be able to turn Ukraine into another Afghanistan. I also think that Ukraine will then have much more resources to work with. People are a source of value in almost every endeavor we take on. I think that is a hell of a reason to learn how to say "hello". Or "прив?т"

With all my heart I invite the people of Ukraine to join our networking group called Biz-Latvia. We have a Ukraine HUB and are very excited to reach 52 members! We also activated many other HUBS sorted out by country and interest. This way, people can meet others in their country as well as countries they want to get involved with.

We are creating better communication structure in our Ukraine HUB. Some are working and others are not. As we have the breakthroughs we need to have to achieve our goals we will share with leaders and managers of other HUBS.

On day 100 we had 18 members from Ukraine. We said we needed about 150 working at 10% participation to begin to achieve the things we said must be done. We did go from 18-52. That is awesome. We didn't reach 150 and we did not get organized enough for most of our projects to get the traction we needed.

This is WAR. Times are tough, and so are we.

TOGETHER we will rise and DIVIDED we will fall.

I know in my bones that Ukraine must create a powerful network to survive. I know I can not do this alone. I need massive support. Though I know I can not do this, I know WE can! With this, I invite you to join Biz-Latvia. With this, I invite you to participate.
