People Behind the Brand: Sven

My way to RYZON

After a rather semi-successful and -fun apprenticeship as a bank clerk, I studied sports management and communication at the German Sport University Cologne with two of my current colleagues in 2016. In 2019, I then started at RYZON with an internship required for my studies. I went through all areas in marketing while I was a working student and have now been responsible for the above-mentioned areas full-time since 2020.

How I help RYZON

My job is very multi-faceted. On the one hand, I am responsible for a large part of our sponsoring, on the other hand, I try to create synergies with brand collaborations and to place RYZON in the media spotlight through press work. In addition, together with my colleagues from the marketing team, I am constantly looking for ways to make our strong community even bigger and bring it even closer to us.

That's why I like being part of the tribe

We all share more or less the same values, have the same attitude towards exercise and sport, and don't take ourselves too seriously. Besides all the tasks in the daily work routine, fun is never neglected, which is very, very important to me personally.

My moment in sport

I don't have that one moment in sport. I love the variety that cycling brings. Leisurely bikepacking tours, riding down windy MTB trails, interval training on the road bike or competition feeling, and pushing the limit to tunnel vision.

That's what inspires me besides work

Sport has been with me all my life. I also discovered a love of music when I was 14 and have been trying my hand at playing the guitar and singing ever since. I would like to take piano lessons intensively. Touching people with music is a very nice feeling.
