Penny Power Ponders how to use AI to understand customers better

This week, I wanted to share an amazing revelation I have had about the way AI and can help us all objectively give feedback to you about your own business.

This is a strange Pondering, as it is less about the emotions I carry, more about tools that are so useful in business. I like to share emotions and mix my thoughts with business experience too. I hope this inspires you.

I am sure like me, you collect a lot of endorsements and testimonials, they are so lovely to keep, much like the concept of a gratitude jar, you can take them out and look at them and feel good about yourself.

This year at our Summer Party with members of our Business Is Personal Community, we recorded a number of video testimonials. Gathering incredible content like this is only useful if you have time to leverage the asset you gain.

To ensure I didn’t waste them these are the 4 steps I took.

  1. On return to my office, I played the videos through and transcribed them using Otter.ai to gain a transcript.?
  2. I was left with nine A4 pages of 5,000 words, the feedback was diverse and I read and re-read the document to make sense of the key points. It was a tough task.
  3. I then added this document to ChaptGPT and asked
  4. The result was amazing. It categorised the feedback into the following 6 areas that actually help us so much on how to explain the varied benefits that can be gained by our members.
  5. The genius in this is the categories it created for us

1. Overall Community Experience

  1. Sense of Belonging:
  2. They describe BIP100 as a safe, supportive space.

2. Quality Connections:

  1. The network is praised for its carefully curated group of like-minded business owners.
  2. Members feel that the selection process ensures they are surrounded by people who share similar values and business ethics.

3.? Personal and Professional Growth

  1. Personal Development: Many members joined seeking not just business growth but personal development as well.?
  2. Business Insights and Innovation: Members appreciate the innovative ideas and strategic conversations they engage in with peers.

4. Business and ROI

  1. Direct and Indirect ROI: Members report a range of returns, from financial benefits such as gaining new clients and business opportunities to non-financial ones like personal growth.
  2. Collaborative Opportunities: There is a strong emphasis on collaboration within the community.?

5. Unique Aspects of BIP100

  1. Non-Pitch Environment: Members appreciate that BIP100 is not a “pitch fest”.
  2. Welcoming Onboarding Process: New members feel welcomed and special from the outset.?
  3. Value of Trust and Credibility: The trust and credibility of the members and founders are highlighted as key reasons for joining.?

6. Emotional and Social Impact

  1. Supportive Network: Members frequently mention the emotional support they receive from others.?
  2. Sense of Joy and Fulfilment: Many testimonials reflect a sense of joy and fulfilment from being part of BIP100.

This week, I wonder if you could grab some of your LinkedIn endorsements, or ask your clients for their feedback, collate the testimonials you already have and run them through ChatGPT also, I continue to be amazed at this tool, and I totally understand that we have only scratched the surface.

Finally, I am very loving, kind and grateful to chatGPT, if I want it to understand my values and how I treat people, I make sure I communicate the same way as I would with a person. You might find the image attached funny!

I am being blown away by ChatGPT as I learned how to create more effective prompts by Ed Dale over the last couple of years. I'm now creating personally designed GPTs to help my time-pressed mentoring students on each aspect of our work together. My business mentor is creating his own too. I really feel that, used the right way, it can enhance creativity by taking some of the 'grunt work' away, just how you described it.

Good post Penny! I was lucky enough to be invited to a Google Head Office workshop to learn more about AI, it was excellent and I recommend people to go! Although AI has no conscience I have found ChatGPT the best so far as is humanly emotional and possible, the best. I suppose it is a matter like you to try out all AI chatbots and see what is the best fit for you. ??Happy Days!

Thanks for this Penny. Another useful way to use AI. It is such a useful business tool if we use it with care. I am also polite and grateful in my interactions with Chat GPT and I think that is reflected in the results it provides for me.
