Pen Power

I was reminded of the power of the pen just recently.? You might have seen my diary.? Its a print out from Outlook with all the different types of days, client work, training and travel highlighted with different coloured pens.? It looks pretty chaotic at times, with very few days not coloured in.? However I realised that I don’t have enough days highlighted for me.? Days for climbing, being with friends, me time.
So I wrote some in.? I wrote “holiday” across several days in purple pen and I even went so far as to write down where I wanted to go.? Be specific. Really specific.? Now here’s a funny thing.? Once you write things down it makes them real, it can even make them happen.
When I did this once, a few days after writing “climbing in Scotland”,?I had a text from my friend Pete Collins.? He messaged to say that he would be in Scotland when I wanted to be there!? We arranged to meet up and go climbing.? If you send out a positive intention to the universe then it will respond!
Write it down.? Make it real.? Make it happen.

5 个月Great point Sue! Writing something down with a real pen is so different to typing on a keyboard. I find it best for journalling, but that tends to be reflecting on what has happened rather than looking forward. I will pop in some intentions too and see what happens!
