Added Value

I believe anyone running their own business needs these three things;

  1. Computer
  2. Mobile/cell phone
  3. Virtual Assistant (VA)

You likely have the top two, but the third is less common.

A VA frees you up to do what you do best.

Many people are scared off from having one because they hear stories where it hasn't worked.

One of the main contributors is setting them up for success at the start.

Here is a playbook with everything you need to know to get your VA setup for success.

A few words from me...

You want new clients, but your actions aren't working as planned.

What are you missing?

The trend was cold outreach, mainly through LinkedIn, was the best strategy.

I had doubled down on it, and it was having diminishing returns.

Once everyone is doing it, it loses its competitive edge.

So, what should you be doing instead?

I see a trend where people go to trusted peers and ask for referrals. Then, they will look at your LinkedIn profile and website to validate.

The more you network within an industry, the more you will be known as the thought leader in that niche.

The proliferation of AI-generated content is lessening the impact of pure inbound.

Be well-known within a niche and let your reputation speak for itself.

This really does make so much sense Paul. Given that so many of us specialize in one aspect or another in business, collaboration is the sure fire way of getting your projects completed in a timely manner as well as economically on both sides of the table. The bonus is that you stand a better chance of enticing other projects your way by virtue of a job completed efficiently as opposed to struggling on your own. Despite good intentions, I’ve witnessed far too many projects go sideways because of a single point of failure. Collaboration with a group of like minded professionals almost always eliminates the chances of failure. Great thoughts here as usual my friend. Cheers ??
