Scared to be in this race?

Where everyone is pushing others to move ahead?

Scared to burn like the sun?

Wherein I fear losing myself?

Scared to express myself?

Fearing anyone who may take advantage?


I am scared?

Scared to be myself?

Trying day and night just to fit in?


I am scared?

Scared of being different?

Not following the determined route and making my own?


I am scared?

Scared of not expressing myself?

Always thinking of how others would react

Scared of growing?

Thinking that others would be ready to cut me down?
