Pecometer October Catch-Up

It has been a busy October - find out what we have been up to!

This October, Lions Prep released their fresh, new-look customer portal, developed and launched by the Pecometer team. The key to a great customer experience is the simplicity and convenience of the site for managing meal plans and placing orders. The team ensured that this was prominent throughout the development of the portal. We are proud to continue to support the UK’s highest rated meal plan service.

On the 20th of October, Sean, Joe and Rachel attended Manchester Tech Festival. It was an excellent opportunity to listen to experienced speakers discussing tech and software engineering! We also attended the afterparty, where we met many other brilliant people in the industry and got to let our hair down! Read our blog and check out our socials to find out exactly what we got up to!

Employee Spotlight...

At the beginning of the month, we celebrated the 2nd Pecoversary of our stellar Full-Stack Developer Matt! Congratulations on your skills development and growth with the company. Later, we celebrated Arif on completing his apprenticeship and welcomed him to the team as a newly qualified Full-Stack Developer!

This Halloween, we hosted an office party as a team! We dressed ourselves and the office up and played some spooky games together! Have a look at some of the great costumes our team turned up in. Who do you think took the competition crown home?

Monday the 10th of October was World Mental Health Day.

Due to our 4-day working week, most of the team spent Monday resting at home, which we hope aided their mental health. On Tuesday, we decided to have breakfast together as a team to catch up with one another and provide a support system whilst at work. For the rest of the week, we utilised our office's breakout room by playing games on the Switch and watching feel-good shows together on Netfllix.

All in all, we have had an amazing October, bring on the next month!
