Pearls of Wisdom

Emotional Recalibration To Therapeutically Empower You Through Life's Toughest Challenges
Many years ago, I ran what could humbly be described as the best business and social network club in London...
I learned a few things along the way.
One discipline I made into habit was publishing a newsletter, called Pearls of Wisdom, every Friday at 7am, for several years. I never missed an edition, even when I was traveling. I had an open rate between 40 and 50%, which I'm told, is quite good, so I've decided to see if I can accomplish something similar here, but daily - and it must be read in less than three minutes and it must be of value to you.
So - this is essentially a networking tip, but I feel it should apply to all our professional relationships.
If you ask a room full of people who is the greatest ever politician, sportsman or actor, you would expect to get as many different opinions as people in the room, based on each individual's personal make up.
I bet if you think of your favourite footballer or rock star, you can probably name their spouse, their country of origin, who else plays on their team or in their band, and what their greatest achievement has been to date.
Are you still waiting for referrals?

If we adhere to the ethos that people do business with those who they know like and trust, let's start NOW with KNOW.
This week, make a point of really getting to know two or three people in your network.
Get some depth to your working relationships and see the difference it can make.
