I am not wearing my pearls tomorrow for a new chapter of Biden/Harris only. President Biden uplifts women and others. Right? Dr. Jill.
I am wearing my pearls for the men, who have uplifted women.
I am wearing my pearls for the men, who loved their families and raised their children. You uplifted them.
I am wearing the pearls for the men, who fought the WWl, WWII and other wars to protect our freedoms and those of other countries. You uplifted the world.
I am wearing the pearls for the men, who where my Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, who fought the WWl, WWII and other wars to protect our freedoms and those of other countries. You uplifted the world.
I am wearing my pearls for Don, who was a POW and uplifted others. After his wife passed, he quietly retired to his room after dinner each night. He taught himself how to make beautiful jewelry. He made me a string of pearls I asked, "Why is their a glint of sparkle between the pearls?"
With a twinkle in his eyes, he responded, "Whenever you are asked: 'How are you?' You smile and your face lights up and you would not miss a beat and say, 'Dazzling.' You dazzle and sparkle in my eyes."
Before I left my long-time position, Don sat down and encouraged me to always value the gifts and talents God had given me. He then presented me with the everyday pearls I wanted to wear. Imperfect pearls. Life is imperfect. There are struggles and challenges. It is how we respond.
I will start my day off with prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and my perfect pearls.
God Bless, America and may each of us walk in faith. Uplift others. Appreciate our brothers and sisters. Give gratitude for our FREEDOMS each day.We
