Peak Performance Thursday: The More You Practice - The Better Your Get
In his 2008 book Outliers: The Story of Success, author Malcolm Gladwell has written a fascinating chapter around “the 10,000-hour rule,” or true expertise. The 10,000 hours refers to the actual number of hours a person (or group) needs to practice to achieve world-class performance.
No matter what source is consulted, what is indisputable is that deliberate, focused practice over time results in improved performance. The number of practice hours for most people (yes, some people are born with innate talent requiring less practice hours) results in improved performance. The more you practice, the better you get.
At Academy for Momentum we organize the practice attributes for you (duration, frequency and repetitions) so you can direct your energy toward the end game: world-class performance! Call us today at 844-MySpark for an on-line demonstration.
