A Peak Inside My Private Coaching Session

At exactly 8:51 a.m. this morning, I walked into Cartel Coffee Shop on 5th Street in downtown Scottsdale.

I was there to meet a young guy who’s trying to transform his one-man marketing agency into a coaching program that will give him the freedom and flexibility to make $30k - $50k a month WITHOUT working himself into an early grave.

It wasn’t our first meeting, but it was the first time he was coming to me with something tangible.

I love talking to this kid. (I say kid, he’s 28)

He’s a machine. All he does is absorb knowledge and execute.

It’s the execution part that’s impressive.

Lots of people are great at consuming information but never seem to get around to doing anything with it.

They buy all the courses, join “groups”…

They’re always talking about the stuff they’re going to do but never get around to actually doing it.

I call them “Struggle-Bus Kids”…

And there’s more of them than there are people willing to do the work necessary to see a result.

So when I get a chance to work with someone who has the motivation to execute, I go the extra mile.

Today we discussed business structure.

Every entrepreneur is concerned about productivity…especially if you’re running a solo business.

What they don’t understand is that the way you structure the business is far more important than all the productivity hacks you see peddled by today’s experts.

I thought it would be valuable for him (and you) to see how I designed my business for maximum results with minimal effort.

So I broke out a piece of paper and showed him this:

This is my entire business model that allows me to generate between $17k and $32k per month while creating just 3 hours a day.

Here are the steps:

1. Identify the problems my premium clients are having.
2. Create a solution to that problem that gets a result for those clients.
3. Offer that solution to my list to bring in additional revenue.
4. Generate new customers from those niche trainings.
5. Convert the customers who are ready into premium clients.

Now to be fair, I’ve been refining this model for the last couple of years…

And I’ve been coaching clients for the last 15 years…

So my results aren’t even on the same planet as “typical”.

But it’s a model that can work for any coach, consultant or expert who wants to build a sustainable business with predictable cash flow without working themselves into an early grave.
