Daniel 8: 25 And through his policy, he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many. I am a citizen of this nation, where it seems that every second word spoken is peace; however, we have been at war before I was born, and it has not stopped in my eighty-one years on this planet. Am I living in an alternate universe where lie equals the truth, and by some perverted logic, war is keeping the peace?

What is peace? Freedom from disturbance; harmony, friendliness, and tranquility: Check the history books; there has not been a decade of peace in my eight decades on earth; some foreign nation is always a threat to the USA national security, one such nation Russia, is stupid enough to place itself in the middle of the areas of USA military bases, but in the sixties, Cuba ninety miles away could not have the right to protect itself from invasion. As far as I know, and I could be wrong, there are no foreign navy or warships in the USA territorial waters seeking freedom of navigation, yet, for the peacekeeper USA, the reverse is true. The Persian Gulf, South China Sea, and Black sea are thousands of miles from the USA shores, yet they patrol for freedom of navigation.

Honestly, something is wrong with these nations that threaten the USA's national security; they always place their countries' smack dab in the middle of the USA military bases; why can they understand that USA bases are natural phenomena? Countries that threaten should not come close, and it would be nice if these countries move to reduce the threat. Imagine the USA military leaders and politicians having that mindset. War will be the business model for another thousand years; if the USA is not defeated or sidelined by an upcoming power.

The European magic of fighting wars and have the population believe that peace is the goal is not new. Both England and France, whose forces were fighting in Afghanistan, fought for 100 years from 1337- 1437; (you think 20 years was long), then they woke up in 1453 and peace, and unity was all the rage. While all this pretend unity and friendship, the British were at war with Spain in 1588. I have mentioned the history above, so you are not misled by their deceptive words. Peace for the European means control; when they use peace, they represent power, but everyone else thinks they are talking about tranquility.

Since peace for the Europeans does not mean tranquility, one can see the method to their madness. The Invasion in 2001 was not to bring peace to Afghanistan. The CIA was already there since 1979 with the USA's deceptive practices. The USA spent $300 million per day for 20 years; how much did the CIA spend in the 42 years on their covert operations? Sadly it did not bring peace and tranquility to Afghanistan. That was not the purpose. This behavior, talking about peace but waging war, has been going on all my life: Partition of Palestine to bring peace to the Middle East; the assassination of Mohammad Mosaddegh and Patrice Lumumba, Iran/Iraq war, two invasions of Iraq, removal of Gadaffi, killing the Iranian general, Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, and Syria all done in the name of peace but the battles continue. War everywhere!

Again, the dictionary is correct that peace is freedom from disturbance. The USA must answer for the disruptions they caused everywhere; if I were a citizen of any nation other than the USA, my criticism would be the same. The issue is not might; it is whether what the USA is doing is right and it is not. Recently AUKUS is a new alliance formed to confront China in the South China Sea; is that ironic? Australia 3,102 miles, UK 6,357 miles, and the USA 8,424 miles away from the South China sea; why are they there? The sun never set on the British empire was their pride, now transferred to the USA: the sun never set on the USA military bases that surround her perceived enemies around the globe.

The prophet Jeremiah had some choice words for Israel that apply to the Europeans today: They have also healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying peace, peace when there is no peace Jeremiah 6:14 & 8:11; just as I said at the beginning of this article, every second word spoken by the European is peace while their drones and bombers are destroying people's lives and the infrastructure of their countries, the power USA substitutes for peace is destruction. I have seen this deception throughout my eight decades on Earth.
