Peace and Conflict Management Working Paper

Peace and Conflict Management Working Paper

In 2013 Dr. Adebayo, Director at the Center of Conflict Management at Kennesaw State University and I began to research and write about the Post Election Conflict management strategies utilized in Kenya in light of the horrific armed conflict of 2007/2008. The researched material included in-person interviews with key stakeholders and well as scholarly articles. The resulting paper is available FREE at the link below. Some of the issues addressed include the role of the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC), the role of the new constitution of 2010, the political coalitions and the question the role of ethnicity. Take a look and enjoy this first of two articles.
